Last Updated: 31 October 2025
1. Acceptance
By paying a deposit, signing a proposal, or instructing Colloco Marketing Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) to begin, you (“the client”) agree to these Terms & Conditions.
---
2. Scope of Work
All work will be carried out as described in your proposal or quotation.
Any additional work — such as extra pages, redesigns, new functionality, copywriting, or SEO — will be quoted and invoiced separately.
---
3. The Visibility Interview™
Every website project begins with a Visibility Interview™, our signature discovery process that defines your goals, brand personality, and design direction.
This session is required before design work begins.
Additional strategy or stakeholder sessions are quoted separately.
---
4. Payment Terms
A non-refundable 50% deposit (or otherwise agreed amount) is required to confirm your booking and before any work begins.
No creative, strategic, or design work will commence until the deposit has cleared.
The remaining balance is due before launch or transfer in Wix Studio.
Hosting, domains, apps, or third-party subscriptions are billed separately unless stated otherwise.
Late payments may result in suspension of work and interest charged under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
---
5. Wix Studio Platform & Ownership Transfer
Websites are created within Colloco Marketing’s Wix Studio agency account.
When your project is complete and paid in full, you’ll be asked to create your own Wix account, to which the finished website will be transferred.
Once transfer is complete:
You become the primary owner and administrator.
You are responsible for all hosting, domain, billing, and ongoing management directly with Wix.
Colloco Marketing’s access will be removed unless you request continued support under a maintenance plan.
After transfer, Colloco Marketing is not responsible for technical issues, downtime, or changes unless covered by a separate service agreement.
---
6. Branding & Design Files
Colloco Marketing values brand consistency and design integrity.
All creative assets remain our intellectual property until full payment is received.
Logo Files: Final logo exports (PNG, JPG, PDF) are provided upon full payment or can be purchased separately for £75.
Editable design files (Figma, Canva, Adobe, etc.) remain the property of Colloco Marketing unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Clients receive full rights to use final exported deliverables for their own marketing purposes.
---
7. Design Discovery & Review Process
To ensure alignment, we hold a design discovery session before work begins to discuss examples, tone, and visual direction.
Each website project includes three review points:
1. Initial concept presentation
2. Mid-project review
3. Pre-launch review
Revisions cover reasonable text, image, or layout tweaks — not redesigns.
Further revisions or creative direction changes after sign-off will be quoted separately.
---
8. Post-Launch Grace Period
Once your site is live, you have a two-week window to request small text edits, image swaps, or technical fixes included within your project scope.
This does **not** include design changes, new functionality, or additional pages.
After this period, all work is chargeable at our current hourly rate or under a Colloco Maintenance Plan.
---
9. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
* Provide all content, images, and access details promptly.
* Ensure supplied materials are owned or correctly licensed.
* Review and approve work at each stage to keep the project on schedule.
Delays in providing content or feedback may delay delivery.
---
10. Maintenance & Support
Unless you’re on an active Colloco Hosting or Maintenance Plan, your website is self-managed after transfer.
You are responsible for:
Hosting, billing, and renewals within Wix.
Backups, updates, and security.
GDPR, cookie, and privacy compliance.
Ad-hoc support, updates, or troubleshooting are billed separately.
---
11. Cancellation
If you cancel after work begins:
The deposit remains non-refundable.
Work completed up to the cancellation date will be invoiced in full.
---
12. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep all sensitive business information confidential, except where disclosure is required by law.
---
13. Limitation of Liability
We exercise all reasonable skill and care in our work but cannot be held liable for:
Loss of income, data, or reputation caused by downtime, third-party failure, or misuse.
Errors or issues resulting from changes made after launch or transfer.
Our total liability will not exceed the total amount paid for the project.
---
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
---
15. Acceptance
By commissioning Colloco Marketing Ltd to begin work, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
